இத்திட்டம் கொங்கு வட்டாரச் சொற்கள், சொற்றொடர்கள், பழமையான வழக்குகள் ஆகியவற்றை ஒரு விரிவான அகராதியாக்குவதை இலக்காகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. ஒவ்வொரு சொல்லுக்கும் அதன் இலக்கண வகை, சூழல், பயன்பாட்டு எடுத்துக்காட்டு ஆகியவற்றோடு சேர்த்து வழங்குவதே இதன் குறிக்கோள்.
The aim is a comprehensive dialect dictionary of native words, phrases and expressions from the Kongu belt, with grammatical classification, context and usage examples for each entry.

கொங்குத் தமிழின் உழவுசார் வேர்கள், குடும்ப உறவுமுறைகள், வீட்டுவாழ்வு, வேளாண்மை, பண்டிகைகள், சமையல், சடங்குகள், இயற்கைச் சூழல், தினசரி பேச்சு போன்ற துறைகளில் பயன்படுத்தப்படும் சொற்களை மையமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.
This dictionary focuses on the agrarian roots, household life, kinship systems, festival culture, cuisine, rural routines and everyday tonal expressions of Kongu Tamil.
ஏன் முக்கியம் · Why it matters
நவீன காலத்தில் மக்கள் இடம்பெயர்தல், இணையம் மற்றும் சமூக ஊடகங்களின் ஆழமான ஊடுருவல், நவீன வழக்கின் தாக்கம் போன்றவற்றால், பல சொற்கள் பொதுப் பேச்சில் இப்போது குறைந்து வருகின்றன. அவற்றை ஒரு தளமாக பதிவு செய்வதும், ஆராய்வதற்கும் தேடுவதற்கும் ஏதுவாக்குவதும் இத்திட்டத்தின் முக்கியப் பணியாகும். சொற்கள் மறையாமல் பாதுகாக்கப்பட வேண்டும்; அந்தச் சுவை, பாங்கு, சூழல், வார்த்தைத் தோற்றம் அனைத்தும் ஒன்றாகப் பாதுகாக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
Migration, smartphones, social media and modern slang are changing everyday speech. Many words tied to traditional farming, household life and village routines are fading away. This project records them in a searchable, open and reusable form so they are not lost or left only in oral tradition.

இத்தளம் அகராதி உள்ளீடுகள் மற்றும் வகைப்பாடு தரவுகளுக்காக நேரடியாக எளிய CSV கோப்புகளைப் பயன்படுத்துகிறது. இதனால், சிக்கலான கருவிகள் இல்லாமலேயே இத்திட்டம் வெளிப்படையானதாகவும் எளிதில் விரிவாக்கக்கூடியதாகவும் உள்ளது; யாரும் நகலெடுத்து, திருத்தி, மேலும் விரிவாக்கலாம்.
The site reads directly from plain CSV files for dictionary entries and category metadata, which keeps the project open, transparent and easy to extend without a complex toolchain.

This dictionary is meant to grow through collaboration. The best additions often come from local speakers, family elders, and people who still carry the working vocabulary of the region in everyday life.
